Yes, and particularly necessary in areas where the water pressure in the street is high. At Agasi Plumbing & Water Systems we’ve had over twenty-five years of experience dealing with pressure regulators of any size.

The job of a pressure regulator is to protect the structure’s plumbing system and all water-using fixtures from high water pressure which may cause water leaks and fixture damage throughout the structure. Water pressure regulators are typically connected at the point of entry to the building. Our technicians will find out the stagnant pressures in the street and compare it to the pressure inside your structure.

If the pressure at your site is too high, and the regulator will not manually adjust to lower the pressure, it’s likely that the regulator is failing and needs to be replaced.

We recommend that you don’t delay getting a new pressure regulator fitted when it’s needed because high pressure in your structure may result in needless leaks, fixture damage, slab leaks or other water leaks.

It is important to call a licensed plumber, like Agasi Plumbing & Water Systems, because we have years of experience, a proven track record and we are bonded and insured. We’ve been in business for over twenty-five years and are familiar with the plumbing and building codes and legal regulations of the Southern California area.

Our technicians are employees not sub-contractors. We train our people to maintain the highest standards and the latest methods of designing and building plumbing systems from scratch if necessary.

Here are some of the best examples of why it’s important to call us:

Generally things like bathroom remodeling, moving or altering existing plumbing systems or even adding new fixtures requires a plumbing permit. Here at Agasi Plumbing & Water Systems we meet all building codes and obtain all necessary permits to meet the city’s inspection requirements.

Whenever toilets, sinks or any other fixtures are backing up the problem is almost certainly the main sewer line. To clear the line requires special equipment that most homeowners don’t typically have. While renting the equipment is possible, it is not advisable unless you have experience using it. Agasi Plumbing & Water Systems has the right equipment and proper experience to solve your emergency and maintain your sewer system in excellent working condition.

Leaking pipes are more than just an inconvenience. An undetected water or sewer leak inside a wall or under a floor can wreak all sorts of havoc on your plumbing system and your home or office. A leaking pipe can burst and crack and cause a major flood which would require extensive new construction. Agasi Plumbing & Water Systems will detect and locate the leak, expose the damaged pipe and replace the failing section before major damage occurs.

Routine Sewer line cleanings are one of the most important things you can do to protect your sewer system. If you do not maintain your sewer line, you could end up with a major clog or even a broken or separated line that will end up costing a lot of money, time and effort.

Tree roots are the most common cause of clogs and damage to older sewer lines and sewer lines that have not been maintained properly. The signs of sewer line problems are water backing up usually into a tub or shower, slow-draining fixtures, gurgling sounds coming from your drains, and smelling raw sewage or hearing noises from your pipes after running your dishwasher or washing machine.

Since older sewer lines were typically made up of short sections of clay pipe they tend to crack and separate easily over time. Agasi Plumbing & Water Systems will locate the sewer line on your property by inserting a video camera and a sensor device to reveal the condition of the entire sewer line from the structure to the street. Once the damaged sections are located we will remove the broken area and replace it with new heavy-duty solid ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) pipes. We also recommend installing a “cleanout” or an opening on the line so it can be maintained easily in the future.
